PR Made Simple in South Australia for Student Visas March 2016

According to new scheme those who are pursuing higher degrees or those who already have finished their master degrees/bachelor degrees in Australia will get their PR directly.

This is an awesome opportunity for those people who came to Australia in Student visas for eg. doing Masters in Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing etc. The scheme will be implemented in Southern Australia. But if you get state PR in South Australia, after  2 years you can apply fo all Australia PR after 2 years as well as after 4 years you can apply for Australian citizenship too.

So after getting PR in South Australia, you can move to other states for better jobs.These state PR holders will be permitted to do various jobs in different sectors.

They will be permitted both in state occupation list as well as supplementary skilled list jobs department.

These applicants should prove their English proficiency, that you can do without IELTS too. You just need to register your higher degrees to South Australia Skill Assessment body.

Requirements for State PR Applicants

1. Ph.D. or Masters by Research.

2. GPA of 6.0 or above in a Masters by Coursework degree (following completion of a Bachelor degree in South Australia).

3. First Class Honours in a dedicated Honours year (following completion of a Bachelor degree in South Australia).

4. GPA of 6.0 or above in a Bachelor degree.

The three participating South Australian public universities are: Flinders University, University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.

Immigration SA offers state nomination to applicants under this category who meet state and federal government requirements for either a 190 or 489 General Skilled Migration visa.

Most of the Indians who have come on student visas are doing either Master courses or Degree courses. So this would be an awesome opportunity for those who are in South Australia.
