Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) has called for admission to 1 year programme called Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health. This programme will enable nurses to become Public Health Nurses in Central govt who has a pay scale of 9300 – 34800 GP 4800 and many other positions like Programme officers in various national programmes, NGO’s, WHO etc.
Last Date – June 30 2015
Admission is open to the academic year commencing from August 2015 to July 2016 at the Indian Institutes of Public Health, Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Delhi, Gandhinagar (Gujarat) & Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh).
Eligibility – Applicants should have a graduate/postgraduate degree in medicine, AYUSH, dental, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, natural/life sciences, management, social sciences, social work, economics, statistics or any equivalent qualification.
Candidates with work experience in health/ development sector will be given preference.
Advantage – 97% placement record in previous academic year.
There are four Centers for this programme viz. Delhi, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar and Bhubaneshwar
Course Fees – It will come around a total of 3 lakhs out of which candidates need to pay only 1.25 Lac, remaining paid through PHFI Scholarships. Hostel Facility is also available.
